Current policy work

Picker Institute Europe uses its research evidence to press for changes to healthcare policy and practice both in the UK and internationally.

How we work with others

Picker Institute Europe is an independent charity with no political alignment. It works to influence the health policies of all the main political parties.

It has contributed to government working parties, advisory groups and policy initiatives, and to health policy reviews of the Conservative and Liberal Democrat parties.

Picker Institute Europe believes in evidence-based policy. It can assist any organisation with a policy interest to produce research and recommendations for action through, for example, literature reviews, population and patient group surveys, focus groups, and engagement events.

Picker Institute Europe seeks wherever possible to work in partnership with others, especially within the voluntary sector, on the issues that matter to patients.
