Improving patient experience

The quality of patient experience is increasingly recognised as a key element of the overall quality of healthcare.

Picker Institute Europe aims to help its clients and partners to use patient experience measurement and other forms of engagement and feedback as the starting point for a process of quality improvement.

How we can help

The Picker Institute can work with healthcare providers and commissioners to:

  • measure patient experience
  • gather patient feedback
  • analyse the findings
  • develop action plans
  • engage patients in service improvement
  • evaluate improvements and
  • communicate developments back to your Board and stakeholders.

Patient feedback for quality improvement can be obtained through surveys or through patient and public engagement.
