Our service in action
Recent projects include:
Workshops for staff and patients
We hosted a series of half-day workshops for Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals NHS Trust on how to make practical use of patient survey results. The events were attended by up to 50 patients and staff from different directorates within the trust for whom the results were of importance. Attendees came away with a better understanding of the role that patient experience data can play in shaping services. A commitment was also made to build patient feedback into the action planning process in the future.

Developing a PPE strategy
Brent PCT in north west London asked us to help create a public and patient involvement strategy fit for World Class Commissioning purposes. We carried out a series of in-depth interviews with local authority officers, PCT staff, and a variety of community groups among the very diverse population. We gathered and analysed all relevant documentation from the PCT, and all relevant policy guidance and regulations. We then applied our own extensive knowledge of the research into what works, and what does not, to achieve the many different objectives that require an element of PPE. The PCT Board will consider our recommendations for its three year strategy.
A communications and engagement strategy
For Greenwich tPCT in south London we provided a communications and engagement strategy based on 1:1 stakeholder interviews, document reviews and rapid appraisal of the engagement of community groups. A workshop was held for key directors, commissioners, communications and public health staff to outline a vision to guide the strategy.
