How we can help

Our service offers:

Questionnaire development
Data collection
Reporting
Optional on-going monitoring

Questionnaire development

Questionnaires are designed around a set of 15-20 'core' questions covering key aspects of service quality, and 4-6 service-specific questions tailored to your particular needs.

Data collection

Feedback can be gathered using a range of methods including telephone interviews, postal questionnaires, assisted interviews, and kiosks at the point of service. The Picker Institute will work through the pros and cons of each approach and design the survey methodology that best suits your needs, depending on sample size, likely response rates, and data availability.

Reporting

You will recieve bespoke reports which focus on 'core' aspects of service quality across all services, as well as providing top-level analysis on each individual service included in the survey.

Where sample sizes are adequate, we can compare service delivery across localities/regions or similar sub-groups to compare results. Reports will identify stronger and weaker performing areas with the aim of sharing 'best practice' within the PCT.

Optional on-going monitoring

The surveys can be undertaken as a 'one-off' project or be undertaken as the first stage in a rolling programme of service monitoring, eg on a quarterly or bi-annual basis.
