Maternity Service Surveys

Voluntary Maternity Survey 2012

 

Picker Institute Europe will be co-ordinating a voluntary repeat of the 2010 national Maternity Survey this year.

 

The survey starts in March. Results will be available in August, enabling trusts to see how their performance has changed since previous surveys and to introduce improvements in time for the next national survey.

Paediatric Surveys 2012

We will be running paediatric inpatient, outpatient and emergency care surveys in 2012, with self-completion questionnaires for children and young people aged 8-17 years and parent/carer versions for younger patients.

IAPO Global Congress 2012

Children and Young People's Research Team Presentation

 

The Picker Institute's Children and Young People's Research Team will be presenting at the International Alliance of Patients' Organisations (IAPO) 5th Global Congress which takes place 17–19 March 2012.

Neonatal care survey results

Throughout 2010/11 we worked with Bliss, the charity for premature and sick babies, to develop and carry out a survey of parents' experiences of neonatal care services in England. The key findings and final report are now available on the Bliss website.
